EN: [HDV] The Rice Fields of Mae Hee

The rainy season in Pai is truly a beautiful time of year and I just illustrated this in a post talking about the luminescent green rice fields that now surround the valley.

They say a pictures worth a thousand words and if you agree with this premise, a video must obviously take this one step further. Mae Hee is a little village located about 3km to the east of Pai. As you enter the village, you’ll pass a school on your left. Take the first turn to the right and marvel at the beauty as you traverse across a road that is raised one and a half meters above the fields of green.

The short video attached to this post was taken from the road leading to the ancient Buddhist Chedi on the mountain directly above Mae Hee. It clearly shows the magic surrounding Pai at this time of year.
